As stated, entire side streets are generally not salted other than intersections and midpoints. Occasionally we do make exceptions such as after an ice storm or similar event. Although it appears we have an extended period of above freezing temps approaching, we have made the decision to salt the side streets in need to help eradicate the icy conditions as quickly as possible.

Well being that the street was not plowed after the last snow storm nor was it salted in any of the ice storms I think you can manage a little salt in the intersection. This is currently what it looks like, even with the temp at 39 degrees, buses travel Normandy and Church street. The picture was taken at 11:12 a.m. 2-21-19 right after you sent your message.
