Q. Please describe the need for a streetlight enhancement in the identified area.
A. The double sided parallel parking on 10th street obstructs the view for the person entering onto the street from 5th Ave up to 8th avenue. I have seen many accidents almost happy on this street as cars cannot see scooters/cars on 10th avenue as they are entering the street from 5th avenue. A stop sign would let these vehicles be more visible and stop for traffic. A similar system to 12th street needs to be put in place on 10th street for vehicle & pedestrian safety.
