This happened to us last week with garbage collection (for our non-recyclables). The sanitation workers didn’t even empty our bin.

They also just throw bins — sometimes in the middle of the street — and scream through the collection at late hours.

Recycling has become very confusing & complicated especially for everyone, senior citizens. Calls to the department result in “We’ll send an inspector out,” Or “you’ll get a summons” doesn’t answer the question. Not everyone checks the website or has Twitter. So no one is sure of the “new” rules. Why we can no longer use recyclable bags is a mystery. It’s a mess with bins! We all want to follow the rules but we don’t know what they are. It would be helpful to publish requirements in the paper detailing the NEW REQUIREMENTS FOR RECYCLING.
