There is no "No Parking" sign at this bus stop, which allows cars to park here. Almost all other bus stops (including the stop directly across the street) have a zone where cars cannot park so that buses can stop to safely pick people up. At this bus stop, however, cars park right at the bus stop, which forces a rider to rush out into the middle of the road, wavering his/her hands trying to get the bus driver to stop because the bus driver cannot see the person. In short, private property (cars) are taking up public space (roads) and thus endangering the lives who are trying to take the bus, which thereby discourages people from using this stop and encourages people to put their cars wherever they want.
