Thank you for reporting your request - Trees on the right of way are the responsibility of the abutting property owner as per ordiance 16.40.060.3.1. However, there are times where the city may be able to assist with removal. We will forward your request to the Parks Dept for further evaluation to see if they remove the palm in your behalf.

City Forestry arrived on 02/12/19 to inspect palm tree and found a pair of Osprey bird building a nest at the top of palm. Osprey eagles are a protected species bird. The City will continue with weekly inspections. If Osprey birds decide not to nest the City will remove dead palm and grind stump. WRO
