Description
Construction crews for the Madrona Way NE development are once again working on a federally designated holiday - MLK Day - in violation of BI code. I can support this with photos of the crews working as well as a response from Code Compliance confirming that MLK is a designated holiday where no construction work should be taking place. Clark Construction continuously disregards the law by having crews working on holidays.

In a nut shell, as I was taking photos documenting the numerous construction crews working on the project (loud banging, hammering, sawing) a man approached me and asked me 'what the f*** are you doing' . I asked him if he had a city exception to work on the holiday and he told me that they *could work anytime they f-ing wanted to as long as they didn*t make any noise' I responded that I actually had an email from code compliance saying that wasn't true. he said, and i quote 'i really don't f--ing care. get the f-- out of here' he was aggressive and was obviously trying to intimidate me. i asked his name and he said 'joe'. short man, what looked to be average brown hair, wearing a safety hat with what looked to be a headlamp attached to it.
