There is an existing crosswalk approx 0.1 mile from Knighthood Lane ... don't believe there is sufficient pedestrian traffic from Knighthood crossing Cradlerock to warrant a new crosswalk. If you choose to add a crosswalk, putting it at Garland Lane makes more sense.

The lights on Cradlerock do tend to go out sporadically and may have contributed to the accident, as well as possible speeding and inattention by the pedestrian and driver. This is an unfortunate accident, but don't believe it warrants new crosswalk or lights ... pedestrians need to use the existing crosswalks even if it means a slightly longer walk.

Just an fyi ... there is plenty of light at the corner of Knighthood and Cradlerock with streetlights on each side of Cradlerock at that intersection
