Thank you for reporting an issue to the City of Jersey City. We will investigate.

Contractors from that property have been a nightmare. I had to call the Fire Department over the contractor who soldered the railing around the roof. Keep a close eye on that property.

@RCC please note in the foreground of this photo is a picture of the collapsed sidewalk in front of 483 Palisade Avenue that I have reported at least twice before. This is an absolute and immediate safety danger in a high traffic pedestrian area on a very busy street. Action is needed to protect the safety of residents--someone is going to break their neck

The sidewalk was reported back in June and a violation was written. Housing Code provide further update on the original SeeClickFix filed.

Hi John, thanks for the update. That sidewalk is a real steep drop now, I'd estimate about a foot. It fell further during the ice storm. The building appears to be marked as empty now, so I don't know if when a storm hits if there is anyone to shovel it. If that depression fills with snow and a pedestrian walked over it and fell they would really hurt themselves.

As per Inspector Billy Garland, no cause for action at time of inspection for this complaint. As for the sidewalk, I'm forwarding this to Housing Code.
