Actually Dale, I have the highest respect for our public servants and expect, and generally find, our city employees to be skilled, competent operators who can handle such things, rather than infantilizing them and doubting their ability to perform and adapt to change.
P.s., the "agenda" is keeping people safe, keeping the city clean and beautiful, and making sure folks have options for getting around the city in the way that works best for them, and are not forced to buy and maintain expensive, space intensive, inherently dangerous, polluting motor vehicles.
