The City of Albany Department of General Services and Albany Police Department is currently working with the New York State Office of General Services to review Sheridan Avenue Park and the surrounding area to remove the overgrowth you have referenced and remedy the situation you have described above. In the coming weeks, NYS OGS will be hiring a contractor to remove the overgrowth that is located on their portion of the park, and the City will be doing the same on our portion of the park. APD will continue to patrol the area before and after the improvements are made to seek out the issues you have described above.
