Greetings on behalf of Alachua County Public Works,
As mentioned in the response we provided to your original entry of this same issue on 11/7/18, the Alachua County Public Works Department is not responsible for the maintenance of streetlights. The request was then forwarded to the City of Gainesville Public Works Department.
This new submission will also be forwarded to their attention so that they may further assist you.
We do apologize for any inconvenience and wish you the best of luck with getting this issue resolved.
Thanks!
This light is not a GRU maintained light. On the south side of Archer Road, our utilities stop at SW 63rd Blvd, by the Sunstate Credit Union. I believe that would be a Clay Electric light. Thank you.
Rachel with Clay Electric (352-8543) has been notified of the broken street light cover. She advised this is in the Mentone subdv and their office will investigate and make necessary repairs.
