  Hello! This is still a serious issue. We request that the 4 drains at the intersection of Winooski & King and the 1 drain outside our gate on King St, be serviced by 'Vacuum Truck', dispatched by the street department during storms. We also have a sewer drain on our property, a granted right of way to the city, which also regularly needs cleaning during storms. We wish to discuss immediate needs, and longer term solution with the appropriate people- there must be a better way. We get inundated with all of the water, leaves, recycling, garbage, debris, flotsam and jetsam from the hill section above us. Not only is it costly, it has been physically exhausting to attempt to manually turn the tide. We've been battling this, without help, for 20 years, which is beginning to feel wildly unfair. We are open to making changes and improvements to better absorb the water.

We're excited to let you know that we are now implementing a comprehensive asset management program which is a mostly "behind the scenes" effort. This will enable more efficient, more effective and more fiscally sound infrastructure management. Nothing changes for you and we'll continue to use SeeClickFix, but we have had to automate a process to connect our open SCF requests with our asset management program. There may be the occasional bug to work out, but rest assured that your issue is still in queue and assigned to the right City staffer. Once this initial round of automation is through in about a week, we'll revert back to our standard messages on SeeClickFix.
