Thank you for submitting your tree concern to the Howard County Department of Public Works. Our staff will investigate this issue and respond.

Locust tree was looked at on 11/19/2018. The tree will be checked again in the spring after the trees bloom out. It is difficult to determine how much of the tree is dead during the fall and winter season.

Tree was inspected and looks ok. It’s holding a few dead branches at this time. The tree will be trimmed during the next routine trim schedule. If the resident does not wish to wait, they can contact Department of Natural Resources and apply for a permit to have the tree trimmed by a licensed tree expert.
