  It's ridiculous that RVs are allowed to use our neighborhood streets as permanent addresses and cesspools. I can't tell you the number of times parking enforcement ignores RVs who have been parked for months while slapping tickets on a car that is 5 minutes late from moving for street sweeping. It's a huge disservice to us all. RVs being used as residences should be mandated to park in trailer parks, where there is infrastructure for their trash and sewage. Only in Oakland can RVs dump HUMAN WASTE and trash in the street with no consequence. This is atrocious.

  I completely agree. People who actually live in the homes in this community have been calling OPD for the past two weeks, and Oakland police officers have not cited this RV but instead have been chastising the people who live in this community for reporting. What a shame that police officers are not building relationships with the communities FOR which they are supposed to serve.

  This is the product of a lib.eral demo.crat city government folks. Oakland has been in steady decline since they took over half a century ago. NOthing will change until we vote them out

  Collect up some money from your neighbors and offer it to them to leave. When I was a home owner in SF , we used to pay Tommy daBum. He would get paid to watch our cars rather than @#$% on them .he'd buy his beer and watch em . I bet if the people were paid to go , they could go and use that money to do whatever they do and the sign you all make as collective neighbors saying politely No parking ..become an association and run your hood. Quit depending on the bureaucrats to get info to the people.
  But if you treat the poor with respect you go alot further. Make friends. Play nice.

  It's been over a month and this still has NOT been addressed. I've reported to Abandoned Autos multiple times. City of Oakland, will you PLEASE address this?
