Description
The new construction behind my house has caused storm runoff to be directed onto my property and causing mud and rocks to be deposited on my garden and lawn. The problem is getting worse as the gullies deepen with every rain. The muddy water coats my grass with dirt causing diminished light transmission and disease and stains my concrete. Organic material is also rafted onto my lawn which kills the grass and requires time and effort to remove. I have tried to contact the builder, but have received no reply.

The drainage issue happened to me back in July of last year (https://seeclickfix.com/issues/3542586). The city was of no help; they did nothing. I did find out this is water pollution and should be reported to the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM).

The developer did provide a temporary fix (dug the ditch deeper), but later came back and filled back in most of it. So, I would guess I will see the problem again down the road when a major rain sets in.
