A sidewalk or at minimum a gutter is needed along this side of the road. This grass is in a flood zone and turns into a swamp for a few days after a heavy day of rain.

A Police matter.

While someone driving in the grass is a police matter, the street needs to be addressed. At minimum there needs to be a gutter on the west side of the street to collect rain water, and at best a side walk for pedestrians. In fact there is a beggining of a gutter for about 10 feet by 82nd, just continue this down the rest of the street. During even light rains the area turns into a swamp, drainage needs to be improved somehow.

After yesterday's all day rain event on 2/26/19, an evaluation of your roadway was taken today 2/27/29. There is absolutely no rain water standing on the roadway or in the curb. The roadway is draining properly for the amount of rain received yesterday. There will be no improvement to location at this time.

The issue was not the roadway or the curb, it was the grass area where this is no curb or gutter. If I need to call to explain this better please let me know who to contact.

You brought up spring/summer showers are coming and yet there was no evidence of standing water on the grass or roadway to the west. Your initial issue was an police matter, than gutter to collect rain water, sidewalk for pedestrians, grass. Pedestrians have access to sidewalk on the east side of the roadway for travel. The grass area to the west of 55 St does not pose danger or conflict to person and property of surrounding residents. Your suggestions are noted, but at this time there will be no improvements at this location.
