I am totally amazed that the canoe trail at Weedon Island is CLOSED because "Follow-The-Numbers" from #1 to #36 is somehow a dangerous concept for people to follow! Government bureaucracy claims that there has to be some form of standardization for people to get in a paddle boat and go from #1 to #2, take a breath - then go onto to #3 and so on. Really? You close the canoe trail because a simple number system is too complicated?! Try a sign like the one attached...Oh wait a minute, the one ATTACHED is a Weedon trail sign. Wow, just wow.
