Description

The traffic light from the west, going east on 53rd (a bicycle boulevard) and turning north/left onto San Pablo avenue in the left turn lane does not sense bicycles waiting to turn. This forces cyclists to wait multiple cycles for a car to show up behind them to trigger the left turn or to run a red light. This traffic signal should be sensitive enough to sense a cyclist, especially since this is a bicycle boulevard and cyclists are encouraged to use this road.
