At the Washington Rd/ Faculty Rd intersection, the protected left turn coming from eastbound Faculty to northbound Washington is not long enough. It only allows about 1.5 cars through before turning yellow, and most of the time there are more cars than this waiting there. Also, this is a turn frequented by the University's shuttle busses, which are long and slow and have a particularly hard time making the protected turn in time to not block the opposite direction Faculty Rd traffic, even when the bus is first or second in line at the light.
