Looks great driving down Clark. Why do landlords and property management companies get by with this?

Exposed screws and nails are on this furniture. If someone fell in this they could be badly injured. Safety hazard; nuisance and eyesore.

This is a chronic problem in student housing areas.

I agree that it is chronic but it is not acceptable and the property owners should be held responsibke. Most of them would not tolerate this in their neighborhoods. This is a great neighborhood and we love the eclectic mix of population that live here. The home owners that live in this neighborhood pay their fair share of property taxes and real-estate prices. We want our property to hold and/or increase in value. There should be a remedy for poor behavior and lack of respect for the overall community.

We have to be vigilant in our campaign to keep this neighborhood the best it can be, including this forum to report these issues.

Thanks for reporting this issue. It was assigned to a code enforcement officer to visit the property and investigate for any violations of the City Code.
