Hi OldVtr,
I just saw this report this morning - I have also reached out to the tenants of the building to remind them to park on asphalt areas and will be discussing with the owner if we would like to do anything to the parking area to make it a bit more clear not to park on the grass. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!
Thanks! I'm encouraged by Cara's comment and am hopeful that the property owner will clarify lease language around acceptable, designated parking for each tenant's vehicle(s).
I've checked the zoning record and can find no permit for expansion of parking or installation of impervious, packed gravel for parking over the long-established lawn. Please direct us to a copy of that zoning permit if it exists before closing this issue. Are there other facts on the ground that indicate that the installation of hard-pack gravel over existing lawn follows code and hence warrants closure of issue?
(Director of Code Enforcement with out-of-office message until into February) Thanks!
The city records do not have an 81 Marble Ave. but we found the site plan in the zoning files for 375 Saint Paul St. which has a driveway on marble Avenue. It shows four parking spaces on the marble Avenue driveway.
