Description

Video detection of bicycles on Shore Rd at North Ave remains spotty. As far as I can tell from informal testing one has to be exactly on or past the stop bar to actually trigger the detection.

However, given the number of folks who routinely cut the corner making the left off North Ave (even to the point of entering directly into the left turn lane!) this is a very uncomfortable position to be in.

Simply being centered about 3' back from the stop bar seems to be completely undetected (see video link below) despite this being a perfectly reasonable place to stop and expect to be detected, as well as being a much more comfortable spot to wait.

Please adjust the detection area to be more forgiving of lane position.
