Description
There is an increasing number of homeless in the square in downtown Decatur- to the point that there is no where to even sit surrounding the gazebo and I would not bring my children there. They are on the benches outside of Starbucks they are outside of my office building. They sit all day and gawk and yell and I do not feel comfortable even walking to and from my office through the square to the courthouse. What’s next? I’m going to be mugged for walking by with a suit on? If you allow this problem to continue, the city should have never spent all the money they did on “improving” the square.
