Spoke with Community Services Group this afternoon. Will investigate temporary measures until repairs can be made.

I agree this has long been a problem in our community. I would add that this is true for North Laurel Road at All Saints Road. The public side walks that border the Whiskey Bottom West development are difficult for anyone to walk on and impassable for those who use walkers, wheelchairs, or are visually impaired!!

Are these side walks public and the responsibility of the county or private and the responsibility of the HOA that employs CSG?

All Saints & North Laurel reinspected 8/15/18. At these particular locations, areas of sidewalk where a tree is planted between the curb & the sidewalk are the County's responsibility. Areas where no trees are located between the curb & sidewalk are the responsibility of the abutting property owner per County Code 18.402. This area remains on the repair queue for service as funding and crews come available. Temporary repairs have been requested to make the most heavily deteriorated areas passable until permanent repairs can be made.

Repairs completed Fall 2019. One section of N. Laurel Rd remains, but this location is noted under a separate request. Thank you for your inquiry.
