Description

Since closing off Devore Road access to those traveling South on HWY 9, vehicles are instead turning left into the parking lot of the shopping center next to Janis Lane. The issue is causing vehicle accidents and traffic build up near Janis Lane and HYW 9. I unfortunately was involved in an accident on Friday afternoon because a vehicle was trying to make a left hand turn into the shopping center. I ask that this issue be addressed immediately as accidents are still occurring but have just moved from Devore/HWY9 to Janis Rd/HWY 9. Providing traffic citations to those cutting through the shopping center would be a start but a permanent solution must be provided immediately.
