  i’ve had my car windows broken several times in the last year by various homeless people at Home Depot and Best Buy, as well as in front of my home in that area ((confirmed by video cameras that failed to capture a specific identity.)

  Since Prop 47 they will only write these low life thieving vagrants a ticket if the theft or damage is under $ 950.00. In my conversations with Oakland PD they have for the most part stopped citing them because the vagrants advocates have found ways to have tickets voided.

  Oh wow. So David Coleman can post a comment degrading the homeless people, but my comment about this being a government Abuse of Power gets rejected by the moderator. This is not at all a open minded website is it. It seems that SeeClickFix is choosing to support the thought that the homeless are all villians and the government is innocent of wrongdoing.
  Thats ok. Because every time SeeClickFix blocks comments yet allows others, they arenonly crwating a historical record of their willingness to contribute to the downfall of our societies.

  David Coleman a ticket is a piece of paper and a financial addition to an already broken down human beings, despair. Prop 47 didnt cause this problem and a ticket or jail isnt going to unhomeless the "vagrant thief".
  Something else is going wrong. Its not just wanton criminal behavior.

  Endless bad narcotics, cheap booze and no conscience. I used to work very hard trying get them help calling 211, operation dignity, shelter service referrals in 8 years I found two teen age single mother who seemed to gotten help. The rest of these socio-pathic mentally ill addicts do not and will not expect help. So I now have Zero empathy. This social experiment in free will is a complete failure at the taxpayer expense.

  We can all thank our mayor, Libby Shaft, for giving us all the shaft when it comes to homeless encampments....hopefully our next mayor will do something about illegal camping.

  It doesnt matter who calls 211 or tries to get services. None of it leads to anything. Ive called 211 so many times its ridiculous. A shelter? Ive been to them. None of it helped. None of it had any real systems or housing available. And leaving town foe a cheaper place? Worst choice ever. Cheaper means unlivable. I got so sick and the healthcare was nonexistent. Now it doesnt matter because its as bad here as it is everywhere. People are being forced onto the streets in every town and city. Then left on the streets. So the rest of you can hate them for being there. Theres no services for drugs or alcohol. No housing. No bathrooms. No electricity to charge your phone to call for housing or jobs or ambulances. No way all these homeless people chose this. Theres thousands and thousands. No. This is definitely a bigger problem. This is a complete refusal of the system to do the job it gets paid by taxpayers to do. Its been going wrong for so many years now, that its visible to the public eye. All of you can see the results of the wrongs done by our governments. Local and county and state and federal. Each one didnt do its part. Eventually it all had to compile together. Its one big mess. Blaming isnt gonna fix it. Homes and respect and help is going to fix it. Years of that will fix it. Its gonna take human compassion and effort. Or else.
