Hi Cindy, LCI was just at 352 again two weeks ago regarding the truck and inoperable cars. Unfortunately residents often don't do what is required to be in compliance of City ordinances right away. LCI Housing Code has sent them an official violation letter which can accumulate fines and possibly court for the owner. We are trying.

What is " at 352 " mean ? You need to use language we all can understand ? I am older and do not know what most of this new lingo means.

352 Blake Street is the address for the issue of broken down vehicles in the driveway. They havr been there for over a year. Apparently they have been warned by LCI to remove them and face fines if they don't but have chosen not to comply .
By the way 346 Blake Street backyard is beginning to fill up again.

What a joke this is! Those broken down cars and btead truck have been there for over a year since those people have moved in. In fact there is one more now.
It would be nice to see them ordered to be removed.

Can you get your alder involved to push LCI along ? LCI looks like they have dropped the ball.

Hi Cindy and Angelika, LCI Housing Code can take months and includes going to housing court, etc.. It is certainly not a quick process. I just spoke with the inspector today to confirm a letter went out to the owners. I can also reach out to your alder. Thanks again for reporting.

IS ANYTHING EVER GOING TO HAPPEN.
AT LEAST TWO YEARS NOW. REPORTING THIS OVER AND OVER AT 352 BLAKE.
ALSO HAVE REPORTED AT SAME TIME 346 BLAKE STREET AND NOW BESIDES CARS IN USE PARKED DIRECTLY BEHIND HOUSE, THERE ARE THREE VEHICLES CLEARLY VISIBLE FROM THE STREET PARKED IN THE BACKYARD.
HOW LONG IS IT GOING TO TAKE BEFORE SOMETHING IS DONE OR SHOULD I NOT BOTHER BECAUSE IT SEEMS LIKE THIS WILL NEVER BE RECTIFIED UNTIL THE CITY PUTS SOME BITE IN ITS BARK.

CARS EXTENDING FROM ADJACENT PROPERTY. HAS TO BE ANYWHERE FROM 6-8 CARS.

We spoke with the property owner today and he has ordered the bread truck removed. The occupants are making arrangements for the removal of the bread truck and unregistered vehicles. Things should be looking better in the very near future. Sometimes these issues take awhile to resolve.
