Description

1196 / 1198 Baylor St duplex has been vacant since December 2017. Residents who resided in 1198 (basement unit) and evicted in Nov 2017 and who were operating a meth kitchen are coming and going from the property. They have recently hung new sheets over the windows that face Carr St.
under Atlanta’s vacant house law, the house should have been boarded up months ago. The house is uninhabitable and should be torn down.

I saw one of the previous residents around the biilding on June 29th. I took a picture but i didn't see him actually enter the building. Now that the new cutains are up, it seems they have found a way in.

We do call the cops whenever we see someone there. This has been a known meth house run by white supremists for years. There is evidence of people being in the house, but we have not seen them in the last few weeks. It’s very easy to gain access to the house through the back at night when no one will see.

Obviously no one bothered to inspect the house. If so, they would know it has not been registered as a vacant house, it is not boarded up, and it has not been torn down. They apparently missed all the garbage in the back yard too.
