Probably not lot. I've done a lot of research into Oakland's city government and the district reps, it seems like the corruption has spread very far and deep. There's very few - if any - people in the Oakland city government who are interested in improving Oakland.
Out of all the recent mayoral candidates, Nancy Sidebotham was the only person I found who seemed to actually care about the city. The rest seem to only be interested in money and power
