Description

The construction barrier creates a very unsafe intersection for pedestrians crossing Trinity northbound on McDonough. Pedestrians cannot see cars and vice versa until the pedestrian is in the roadway. A solution would be to remove barrier from the corner, install a transparent barrier, or reopen sidewalk on the south side of Trinity and push the barrier back a few feet. This is an unsafe condition and will be even more so when school is back in session and groups of students are navigating this intersection multiple times per day.
