Thank you for reporting this issue to us via SeeClickFix St. Pete. While the City will continue to fill potholes and blade unpaved alleys as needed, it will no longer provide any treatment that is solely to decrease the dust produced by passing vehicles on these alleys. An option to help alleviate this problem is to have your neighbors join into a Special Assessment District (S.A.D.) to have the alley paved by the City. If a majority of residents in a specific area agree to join, a S.A.D. will be created and funded by the residents affected by the improvements, in this case a paved alley. This is not just a dust problem. I have had to change tires on my vehicles because of the gravel. There are potholes and it is very uneven. I will contact the Special Assessment Department but take care of this problem because it is more than a nuisance, its causing damage.

This issue will be forwarded to the pavement dept for maint. on alley area. The above comment was due to the request about paving.
