Description

The new pedestrian hybrid beacon signal for westbound Grand Ave at Lennox is obscured by trees. Westbound vehicles cannot see the signal until entering the intersection and do not have sufficient stopping sight distance. This is a major safety issue for pedestrians who think that cars will stop. Suggest trimming trees prior to turning the signal on and adding a left side signal similar to the Bellevue/Park View Terrace westbound signal one block to the west.
