Description
When entering Brighton Bay Blvd from Gandy, there are 2 lanes that merge into one within a short distance. The right lane is the lane that ends and must merge. However more and more lately, the cars in that lane are either unaware or unwilling to obey the fact that their lane ends and they must yield and merge. Myself and other cars driving rightfully in the left lane, have nearly been sideswiped by cars not yielding and merging properly. There is only 1 merge sign which is placed at the point where the lane ends - too late for any cars to see and act upon. Could we also get lane arrows/markings in the right hand lane to clearly indicate that is the lane that is ending and they need to merge over to the left?

Can someone from the city please provide an update on this ticket?
Also, the issue described in the original post is not about potholes so I don't understand why it's being linked to a ticket requesting pothole repair. This ticket is requesting street markings for the merge lane.
