These doors have been unlocked FIVE NIGHTS IN A ROW since Thursday (5/24/2018). At a minimum, this violation of designated park hours by city employees has occurred NINE times in the month of May alone--OVER A THIRD OF NIGHTS THIS MONTH (35.7%). At a minimum, this has occurred TWENTY-FOUR TIMES THIS YEAR (16.2%).
Is anyone else in Oakland who live near city parks seeing similar safety issues? If so, and you have visibility into this SeeClickFix report, please post on Nextdoor; We'll make a PM available to you to follow up and document what you have seen. We don't think that this is an isolated incident with OPR, and are trying to collect as much data as possible on ordinance violations to report to the city either this week or next.
