Also these are not artists they are offensive spray vandals costing the taxpayer a lot money. They are a heath and safety risk to people traveling on west bound Hwy 580. I would not want to hear here some was killed or injured if they fell or dropped something on someones car.

Thanks David! Is there a way we can open up a dialogue with Caltrans to get them to barricade the signs or just take them down? This guy has been at it for a year now and has no signs of stopping anytime soon.

Here are a couple of Caltrans numbers 286-6173 and 286-9438 I have had very little luck with them calling me back. They do respond to the CSR requests and have cleaned up the signs quickly. I have requested that they barricade the signs as well in my compliants to them.

Sounds like the luck I have with them. I will track down some more Caltrans numbers. I also have patience, perseverance and documentation three thing to strike fear in a bureaucrat.
