Description
There needs to be a no U-Turn sign at this intersection... southbound 4th at 99th Ave N. Just about daily I see someone attempting to make a U-Turn to back Northbound on 4th St. There is no southbound turn lane so they end up blocking the left hand traffic lane while waiting. I have seen this numerous times especially during evening rush hour and creates a very dangerous situation.

I have reviewed the last (5) years of crash data, and did find two (SB) u-turn related crashes. We will use this safety data to recommend the posting of a no u-turn restriction on southbound 4th Street N at this intersection. The only minor traffic generator affected is PePo’s Cuban Café, which has an alternative access from the Frontage Road.
Sincerely,
Kevin L. Dunn
