Description

People use the old dump as a de facto dog park, which seems fine as long as dogs are leashed while on the path to/from the dump proper. I've had frequent conflicts with dogs while riding a bike on the multi use path through this area, made especially challenging by how slow you're going (uphill) and how fast you're going (downhill). Off leash dogs are a hazard on the path and generally don't react well to people on bikes. Please add "dogs must be leashed" and "please pick up after your dogs" signage to the entry point at Manhattan. Something similar to the poop bag dispenser / signage at Ethan Allen Park would be useful.
