Can Cherring be reopened to thru traffic? I understand they don't want cut-through traffic (our neighborhood is a major cut through as well), but it forces too many cars through Tilly MIll/ North Peachtree that don't need to go there. Many are trying to get to Peeler. Rush hour cut through traffic is inconvenient, but it only lasts a short time each day. If this street could effectively make themselves a cul de sac, why can't others? The broader problem is that people need to be courteous of others and obey the traffic laws. Today I saw someone effectively make two right turn lanes onto N. Peachtree by getting to the left of the person in the right lane. When Tilly Mill got their green arrow, no one could move until the Peeler light cleared.

That intersection is a mess during traffic hours. I agree that reopening Cherring would be a great idea.

Cherring sounds good and a couple weeks of writing tickets for flagrant offenders will send a message.
