Every time there is a Softball game across the street from my home, our whole neighborhood is turned into a parking lot for the people attending the game and/or practice. This has gotten way out of hand, people have no respect for other people's homes/yards, they park on the lawns, they park directly in front of Stop signs and mail boxes, they make it very difficult to pull into driveways and extremely difficult to get down streets that barely accommodate two cars as it is and when you park cars on these roads it leaves barely enough room for one car to go down it, and finally the trash that is left behind, last week I had to pick up three water bottles that were left in my yard! Portage Northern has parking but people refuse to use it because nothing is done to stop them from parking in the adjacent neighborhood, I have tried working with Portage Northern to get them to come up with some kind of solution and they just don't care. There has to be a way to stop these people from parking wherever they want and stop using our neighborhood as a parking lot. All you need to do is sit through one game to see how ridiculous the parking situation is. Please, do something!
