Description

The sidewalk on the east side of Main Street between Orion of Main Street apartments and Eisenhower Road has several areas where the sidewalk is completely torn up. It is worse after this winter. I attached a photo of a particularly bad section. I am a wheelchair user residing in Orion Main Street and I use this sidewalk often. In order to avoid this particular pothole, and avoid the risk of tipping out of my wheelchair, I have to go off-road. This Sunday I did that and my wheelchair got stuck in the mud. I couldn't get out without the help of a friend and two kind of strangers who were driving by and stopped. Until this issue is fixed I will feel unsafe venturing out to use the sidewalk on my own.

The sidewalk on the west side of the street also has major potholes, although it does not go all the way to Eisenhower so I'm not able to use it even if I wanted to.
