Garbage 3/18/18 ongoing every day/ day or night

This is not a justified complaint and is unfair. First of all, the trash is in bags. There are two regular trash pickups a week, from the homes, by the park workers. Residents in the camping area also toss their bags of trash into the bin, filling it up quite quickly. The bin that is provided is often filled to overflowing within a couple of hours of it being emptied. As soon as a park worker sees it, the bin is emptied. The bin is regularly emptied sometimes two or three times a day, into the trash truck which compacts it. The area is kept as clean as possible. If the complainant has a better idea of how to dispose of the trash, he/she needs to talk to the park office instead of complaining. I am not an employee of the park but have lived here for almost five years, and have never seen rats around the place.

I would further add, having reviewed the complaint, again, there is no damage done to any of the homes. As far as stinking, trash trucks do have an odor but it isn't unbearable. Somebody around here needs to get a life instead of whining.

I will also add that I have a relative who lives across the other side of the park, far from the trash area. She had a possum tunnel under her home and chew the floor. Other people, far from the trash area, have also had problems with such animals. The animals exist and cannot be kept out of the park. If the complainant has nothing better to do than complain, perhaps he/she could trap these animals and take them far away.

Park does have a big problem with rodents and dumpster tops should be closed. A fenced in compactor with key operation is a solution to this problem. Trash dumpsters in RV parks should have closing lids that remain that way unless trash is being put in it. A compactor that is activated each time they dump and this problem is gone. Please do not get personal as there is no need for condensending remarks . The park does not respond to requests Albert and if u live here and are not a employee or management u would know this!! Also as a resident we pay for the park management to insure a safe living environment. That is the service we pay for and I guess is an issue for DEQ to investigate.
