I’ve complained a couple times, too. The worst is the morning when the crossing guards stop traffic to let a pedestrian go and then we definitely don’t all go. Make a turn light then so we get a fair chance to turn. This new light pattern has us waiting too long.

We live on 82nd Ave and cannot get in and out of our driveway on any given weekday because the traffic is always backed up at this light.

Crossing guards are completely unnecessary here. I have never seen any children crossing at this intersection.

This traffic signal is on a connected/adaptive network that ties all signals on SR 693 (66th St.) from Pasadena to US19. The signal is working properly.

I don't believe they are working properly. The east and west 82 doesn't changr until a car trips the left turn light onto 82 west. Then the light goes back to green on 66 south for about 15 seconds. After that the light changes for 82 st traffic. I travel this every day so I know the pattern.

Did the same thing on 78th. That light is long now too. And I live off 82nd and 66th way and right there is never a child crossing only people going to the gas station for whom a line of traffic waiting to turn has to wait. It’s a poorly planned setup. But I’ve complained too many times and each time I get the same response- it’s attached to other lights. But it’s not. I hit every red light after turning north from 82nd because the green is only if you’re already on the track. Bad pattern!

Maybe public works could respond with who we can take our concerns to, since they won’t fix it.

Same issue with 78th/82nd lights and 49th. They don't care... 5 minute light cycles are acceptable and normal to them. They probably wonder why people are always getting hit by cars around this area... because the lights don't work right!
