Description

This pothole is dangerous, almost unnoticeable until hit, and someone is going to crash their car soon because of it. I saw a worker putting a cone in it yesterday but that cone had been hit by this morning and was 20 yards down the road in the ditch. I knew there would be a pothole but couldn't see it (dark, no time to react) and didn't know how big. I almost lost control of my truck and went into the other lane. Had I left my lane I likely would have hit the car next to me and we would have hit the bridge supports. Not only is this incredibly dangerous, but also has the potential of someone, due to no fault of their own, hitting the bridge and taking it out of service. The city is flirting with a huge liability as long as this is not fixed. A cone will not help. The city's streets are shameful. Please get them fixed. You can make downtown look as nice as you want but if people risk breaking their cars, no one will travel to see it.
