Construction trucks using Grand Street ( from Washington down to the Turnpike and vice versa) as their access/egress road to//from construction -- absolutely no enforcement of the ordinances prohibiting that traffic on Grand -- at least three 18 wheelers have passed in the past two hours -- we need enforcement and we need signs

Why has this been closed ? The only thing anyone did was let it sit ignored first for ten days and than for three weeks and than closed it. The problem continues unabated and indeed it has intensified. It is difficult to say which event best characterizes the frustration. Maybe it is the Mr. John truck (the people who clean out the porta johns) barreling down Grand Street toward the turnpike. Maybe it's the uniformed police officer who didn't ticket the huge construction truck that had inappropriately used Grand instead of Columbus -- he just helped the truck driver in making a left turn across oncoming traffic.
If no one in City Hall is responsible for rectifying the problem please provide the name and phone number of the person outside of City Hall who bears the responsibility for rectifying the situation and in reliance on that advice I will reach out to that individual.
