I have submitted several complaints about a neighbor Joe Hope who is running an Air Condition company out of his home at 1527 Citrus St. Clearwater for a number of years. I submitted a complaint on 12/11/2017 about it and someone from the county came out to my home and told me that his operation was illegal and he shouldn’t be running the AC business out of his home. He has several employees and has at least three company vehicles and also employee’s vehicles. In the mornings, his employees hang out ether in the street or in his driveway waiting to start work sometimes with the radio blaring. The mornings at his home is the (Staging Area) for the loading of equipment and again in the afternoon is the unloading of the old AC’s that is stored and scraped on the side of his home. He really doesn’t care about his neighbors or where his employees park or the use of the neighbor’s driveways that they use to turn around. I had thought that this was going to be nipped in the bud the last time you had to come out there. Mr. Hope needs to have a Store Front or a Commercial Garage to work out of instead of his home. His employees don’t need to show up here everyday. We really don’t need to hear the banging in the mornings and afternoons. Something needs to be done… if it takes contacting my County Commissioner or have the media come out and start asking the questions, why haven’t anything been done by the county, that’s what I need to do. Or maybe his county license needs to be suspended. He has taken advantage of this for too long.
