Description

In spite of a NO U-turn sign posted, multiple vehicles are turning around in this 4-way stop intersection on a DAILY basis, especially between 4-6 pm. They do this to then make a left turn back onto Calaveras and go to Mountain Blvd. to circumvent the slow traffic that is on Hwy 13-south, merging onto 580-East.. The repair project on Hwy 13 has been going on for months, with the normal route to Mtn. Blvd. closed to traffic. Neighborhood complaints to CalTrans resulted in the City posting the NO U-Turn sign on Davenport, but there's NO ENFORCEMENT by OPD or the CHP to prevent this dangerous maneuver.
