The City of Raleigh was called to pick this up and did not pick it up on Friday. Some random person felt the need to dump the mattress there, not the residents. The units are currently being renovated which is the remainder of the debris. The City is supposed to pick it up this Friday

Same for the previous pile. Took the city over 3 weeks to pick it up.

If you are a fairly new owner or resident, that would be a decent explanation. However, there is a long history of this practice that even predates this portal where about every 3 months when tenants vacated that all their remainders were similarly dumped on the curb and left for weeks until someone reported it. There is nothing in photos that I have that suggests anything other than household waste, from broken furniture to pizza boxes. If there are now renovations going on and those byproducts are going to be mixed with loose garbage that blows all over the neighborhood, perhaps a construction dumpster or container would be more appropriate and is probably required by code anyway. This is not just a recent phenomenon. It has been ongoing for years and if everyone used this approach the city would look like a perpetual disaster zone...
