Description
This light stopped working while the water main repair is being done. The sidewalk was dug up last week and there is a possibility that the underground wires were cut. Please investigate while the contractor is still here.

This is an active construction site please have PSEG inspect immediately before the contractor leave. I’m not saying the contractor damaged the wire but they may have inadvertently done so while digging up the whole area.

Please provide a light post number.

Sorry, there isn't a pole number on this.
I had attached picture earlier and I'm attaching another one showing the location of the pole.
This light was working but it went out during the utility work. It could be related and I want to make sure that if it's underground wires that were affected, the utility contractor is held responsible.

XP,
Thank you for the picture. I will forward to the PSE&G supervisor. They will be able to tell me if it was due to utility work. There are indeed some lights out closer to journal square due to utility work which is being taken care of so that could be the issue here as well.

The site hasn’t been filled in yet so there is an opportunity to fix the problem before the concrete is poured in.

Any update?

Hi XP,
I have made PSE&G aware of the issue and they informed us that this is an underground wiring issue which takes time. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
