Description
This van is a nuisance vehicle, the owner will let it sit for weeks at a time until someone reports it. Clearly as it sits now and as it's always been, it's License plates are incorrectly displayed ( see pictures) and are a violation of Washington law WAC 308-96A-295,and are also required to display two plates on the vehicle, which this vehicle only has one.

Thank you for contacting the City of Shoreline. We have assigned service request number CRM18-000057 for our Customer Response Team to respond and investigate.
Please let me explain Customer Response Team’s involvement in abandon vehicles. We have an agreement with the Shoreline Police Department to tag an abandon vehicle with a 24 hour impound notice to move the vehicle. If the vehicle does not move than we refer the vehicle to the Shoreline Police for follow up. The Shoreline Police then tag it with their 24 hour impound notice...if the vehicle fails to move than it is reviewed for towing and will be towed as time allowed. That decision will be made by the police. Customer Response Team may be notified of the resolution.
If the vehicle moves the issue is closed.
If you have any further questions please contact us at 206-801-2700.
Thank you.
