Description

Congratulations on the upcoming change to LED street lights. It is a step forward in energy savings. However, please install LED lights that have a color temperature of 2700K - 3000K which is in the incandescent bulb range. "Daylight" LEDs have too much blue and may cause sleeping problems in neighborhoods due to an interruption of the circadian rhythms. In New York they have installed daylight LED bulbs in streetlights, that cast a bluish hue into bedrooms at night causing this sleep problem. Let's head off the problem at the start and simply install the proper LEDs to begin with.
